Unable to log on samba
Hello,
I have Samba version 3.0.22 based HP CIFS Server A.02.03.
The problem is that I have a user who can't autenticate itself, with the error NT_STATUS_NO_SUCH_USER. It's the only one over several dozens.
my smb.conf :
[global]
workgroup = MYDOMAIN
server string = Serveur PROD
security = DOMAIN
password server = 192.168.0.1 192.168.0.2 192.168.0.3 192.168.0.4
password level = 8
username level = 8
log level = 1 auth:10 sam:10 rpc:10
log file = /var/opt/samba/log.%m
max log size = 1000
local master = No
dns proxy = No
short preserve case = Yes
case sensitive = no
dos filetime resolution = Yes
Do you have any idea ?

Re: Unable to log on samba
Check if you can query all the domain users with the command
wbinfo -u
If it gives an error then probably you domain integration is not OK

Re: Unable to log on samba
Thanks for the tip. I do have an error ; but my original problem is solved : i made a mistake in the local /etc/passwd.
