unable to start the package on mc serviceguard

unable to start the package on mc serviceguard

I have a mc serviceguard installed on a hp server. some days back when i attempted to start one package that was halted it gave me error . I checked log file of the package . followinf error was shown .


number of allowable mount point exceeded

Are you sure that error message is complete? I think the complete error text would be something like:

vxfs mount: /dev/vg03/lvol3 is already mounted, /mountpoint3 is busy, or allowable number of mount points exceeded

Several versions of Serviceguard including the most recent are designed to deal with busy mount points while a package is starting. For instance, the legacy package control script has a function called freeup_busy_mountpoint_and_mount_fs.

Can you provide more of the log content?
