Re: volume group is shown as down in cmviewcl -v
VOLUME_GROUP PHYSICAL_VOLUME STATUS
/dev/vg01 /dev/dsk/c3t0d1s2 down
This (c3t0d1s2) looks strange, because a partition 2 (s2) is normally only used for boot disks.
Please post
# vgdisplay -v /dev/vg01
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: volume group is shown as down in cmviewcl -v
Any explaination please. The thing is why cmviewcl -v is showing vg01 as down when vg01 is actually up and everything is working fine too. I just want to know in what scenario this issue could come up.

Re: volume group is shown as down in cmviewcl -v
Check vgdisplay vg01 on both nodes. Check the /etc/lvmtab on both nodes. Check the cluster configuration file for CLUSTER_LOCK_PV name for both nodes. Make sure the PV is claimed and good by diskinfo on both nodes.
Thanks
Pramod
