Unix to Windows

Can I change the operating system of Visualize B132L to Windows 95/98?

Thanks!

Re: Unix to Windows

No, this box has a PA-RISC CPU in it which is completely incompatible with Windows systems.

It will run HP-UX and it *might* run Linux for PA-RISC.

Re: Unix to Windows

Hello lovely,

You have to understand that these machines never were build to run anything from MICROSOFT.

But they are able to run Linux for PA-RISC and with a little bit of luck you could run windows applications using some kind of windows emulation software like WABI. But I don't think you are this lucky it would run on your workstation but you can always try.

You can load linux

but not anything from M$ until the NTux OS comes out, but probably not in our lifetime.

Re: Unix to Windows

Bill,

I said they were never build to run things from MICROSOFT but I did not say they never ported software to this platform from MICROSOFT.
