Unknown entry in swremove.log
Hi
In swremove.log of one our L2000 machine we got an entry saying, trying to remove
Obsolete.NCSNCK,l=/,r=B.11.00,a=HP-UX_B.11.00_32/64,v=HP,fa=HP-UX_B.11.00_32/64
the log gives an error saying that the above software could not be found on the machine.
We are not able to list this software on the machine. And interestingly some of our Java Processes running on that machine got killed.
Is there link between the swremove.log and process getting killed and what is the software that was being removed 'automatically'.
Br
Praveen

Re: Unknown entry in swremove.log
Hi:
I'm not sure exactly what the warning is about, but I have it in my swremove.log on a K570 running 11.0. Interestingly, I had noted this too during my cold installation of my server some months ago. The server has been running fine, although it has no java apps.
