Unpacking a .bz2 tar ball

Can anyone tell me what I can use to unpack a .bz2? It seems that its uses bzip2 (Red Hat), but I can't find a version that works on HPUX11.00. Does anyone know what I can use or where I can go?

Thanks,
jls

Re: Unpacking a .bz2 tar ball

Joel,

An older HP binary version - 0.9.5d is available - although it states for 10.20 @

http://sources.redhat.com/bzip2/#bzip2-latest

And the source is also avail there if you care to compile the latest ver.

Think this is the only way to decompress - but I'm not certain.

Thanks, Jeff.

This release worked just fine. And it ran on my HPUX 11.00 machine.
