Upgrade Openmail to 6.0

I have a customer who upgraded to Openmail 6.0. Since the upgrade, CPU loads have skyrocketed. There is a new May 2000 Openmail patch but it is unsupported by HP. Has anyone else run into this problem and how did you solve it?
