Upgrading 1 vpar OS from 11.11 to 11.23

We have a 3 vpars in an rp7420 all running HPUX 11.11. I am in the process of upgrading one of the vpars to HPUX 11.23. Can I just upgrade this one vpar? Are there any docs that support this and explain the steps?
Thanks

Re: Upgrading 1 vpar OS from 11.11 to 11.23

no, you need to have all vpars at 11.23 or at 11.11
This is due to the vpmon versions used.
With the latest release for 11iv2 and 11iv3, you can run 11iv3 and 11iv2 vpars in the same partition.

Melvyn, thank you for your response. Is there any document that states this info?

How about page 20 of chapter 1 in the vPar admin guide.

Re: Upgrading 1 vpar OS from 11.11 to 11.23

Update (related to your new thread http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1184990 )

With the new version A.0x.05 (where x is either 3 or 4) you can mix even 11.11 and 11.23 on a PA-RISC system. Check the docs for details.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
