Upgrading from 10.20 to 11 (32bit)
I tried this on a K400 with 2G Mem and 4 Procs. After about 4 hours and less than 50% complete I had to abandon it (the system was needed by business) Any Idea's why this should take sooo long, I shutdown all but essential parts of the system.

Re: Upgrading from 10.20 to 11 (32bit)
The general consensus of opinion on this forum is that it's much easier to cold install 11.00 rather than to attempt an upgrade. All sorts of problems have been reported - do a search of the forums for previous threads.

Re: Upgrading from 10.20 to 11 (32bit)
My advice is do a backup of your applications and also make a recovery tape with IgniteUX. Then do a fresh installation of 11(32bit) OS and you can reinstall your applications if all is well or revert back to 10.20 with the recovery tape.

Re: Upgrading from 10.20 to 11 (32bit)
Numerous posts and personal experience indicate that a cold, fresh install should be done. Back up the data, do the mk_recovery, and then install 11.00.
Some people have had success with the upgrade path but most of what I have read indicate otherwise.
