upgrading lvm to vxvm

Hey, I would like to know how can I upgrade my LVM environment under HP-UX 11i to VxVM.

I want to upgrade and not re-create all the file systems and copy the data.

Is it possible ?

thanx

Hi,

Try this,

http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000062922875

The ITRC doc id is VxVM001

Hope this helps. Don't forget to take a backup.

Another thought, ensure you have the latest hardware enablement patches. the 3.5m package does not install some of the features, unles it verifies you have a sufficient runlevel. Read the docs carefully to find this.
