UPS serial cable specification

We want to connect our new L1000 with an UPS and do not have a cable that fits.
The L1000 has a male 9-pin connector and the UPS HP A2998A has a 9-pin female connector.
How is this supposed to be connected?

Jens,

5061-2575 is the part no. of the UPS cable.
There is no good troubleshooting with bad data
