Urgent! HP-UX got in trouble because I renamed /usr/lib/libc.2 to /usr/lib/libc.2.bak

Urgent! HP-UX got in trouble because I renamed /usr/lib/libc.2 to /usr/lib/libc.2.bak

almost all commands dump a core now(cp, mv, ftp, tar and etc), and I can not recovery it back.

At this time I still have consoles alive, so I still have hope to rescure it, but I don't know how.

Help really needed ASAP.
Any suggestion will be appreciated!

Hi,

try /sbin/mv instead of default /usr/bin/mv (the first one is not a shared executable).

/sbin/mv source destination.
Also, you can ftp from another server. Initiate a ftp/rcp from another server.
There is no substitute to HARDWORK
