usb hard disk

i will install usb hard disk but
i don't known hp 9000 can install usb hard disk ?
1. how install usb hard disk
2. mount fstab

I don't think HP9000 systems support USB. But you could use NFS to mount it from a server that does support USB, linux for instance.
Every problem has at least one solution. Only some solutions are harder to find.

The installtion process is almost correct , however the HP unix doesnt support USB disks , why are you not thinking to instll normal SCSI disks.

mount fstab is last process in installing a disk , you need to do a pvcreate , import or create a vollume group with the new disk and then create the new logical volume , after that you can edit /etc/fstab to reflect this change.

you can teache me how create vollume
and how see the SCSI disks
