Use N-Class Golden Image on K580

All these time, 'been working on N-Class and above systems. We're now about to resurrect a K580 system on fairly short notice.. I've already got Golen Images of everything from an N-Class (with no Partitioning software on it) to a SuperDome...

Could I essentially use my N-Class Image (11i) to image a K-Class?

Hi Nelson,

If i'm not mistaken the K580 is a PA-8200 and the N-class is a PA-8500 or a PA-8600 Architecture. Ignite will not work.

I thought all PA-8X00 series are all binary compatible? Are we saying that the boot loader program on my Ignite Tape Image won't work?
