I have a remote share mounted on my HPUX 11i box. Logged in as root, I have no problem reading/writing to the share.
Other users, however, can not even see the mount point when they run ls -l. If they try to cd into the directory, they get a permissions denied error.
If I unmount the share, the users then can see the mountpoint with ls -l.
I am mounting it in the etc/fstab.
ntserver:/email /mnt/email cifs -o username=user,password=pass 0 0
Am I missing an option to allow users to access the mount?
