using NFS between UNIX and Windows

Hi,
I want to make NFS-Server in UNIX and NFS-Client in Windows. How should I do? Need I install "Service For Unix"? And I want to know the specific of the configurations in Windows.
Thank you very much!

Re: using NFS between UNIX and Windows

You may need to configure SAMBA and use it for accessing UNIX file systems from windows client.

NFS-Server in UNIX

NFS can be done only between Unix Server.

UNIX - Windows,

You need Install "Samba" in UNix hosts
and configure . for Windows clinet , there sharefolder, permisisons,

Windows, --> No need to peform anything,

How to configure Samba.?

You can configure it using the file in /etc/opt/samba/smb.conf

The product is usually installed from your application CD and is called CIFS.

NFS client - Server setup in HP-UX // Windows.

Its possible via

"Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX 3.5"
You need to install the following service in Windows.
