Using puty unable to login
Hi we are using Openssh_3.8 in our servers.
we are loging to the system using putty client . Suddenly it is not allowing us to logging into the system giving error message Can't Open tty [] not a terminal and hangs.
This message comes after entering the password and .profile is getting executed . and shell prompt is not coming . But at the same time i can able to login using telnet.

Re: Using puty unable to login
Hi,
Try to change the preffered SSH protocol version in Putty client configuration. Try with each one 1only, 1, 2 or 2 only.
It should start working.
Regards,
Borislav
