Using /usr/bin/mail to send mail
Hi,
I am trying to use the /usr/bin/mail to send mail, but it appear to stall when i attempt to do so, do i need to configure anything on my box, before i am able to do so?

I would recommend using mailx or the underlying sendmail.
Have you got an SMTP connection to send ?
What are your commands and error symptoms ?

This link might give you an idea of the tasks that you need to do before been able to send mail.
Read through and tell us if you are missing any of those steps.
