On a PC running windows or linux?
In this case you ned to export the DISPLAY varaible to your pc.

You need to export DISPLAY first
on Unix box
export DISPLAY ( ip of your PC ) :0.0

You need to use an X-emulator if you like to open GUI from Windows
You could use Reflection-X or X-manager software on WIndows

2. run xmanager passive
3. try to do xclock to check if it run.

i tried and than also getting same error
if iam start xhost + from my server it saying

Please give ip not hostname
#export DISPLAY=ip of your windows machine:0.0
and u need to run xmanager also on windows machine

You are using linux..?
you can check wether any firewall blocking to your pc ip,
menthods trying to start xhost is correct has mentioned by others,

can you 'ping 10.8.1.53'?
