Vantive and Peoplesoft

Newbie Question.

We are trying to run Vantive and Peoplesoft 8.4 on the same 11.0 server. When attempting to start app server, Peoplesoft product, we get the following error
message.

/usr/lib/dld.sl: call to mmap failed

Any thoughts to problem gladly listened to.

Hi,

These errors are usually related to swap space. I would suggest you to check your swap space with:

# swpinfo -t

Check the swap space usage with swapinfo, glance ets. If needed, increase the swap space.

Hi,

Agian, if it says error about any perticular file/script/functions, then check the permission, owner and group. Set the proper rwx permissions, if you find something. These errors are common when the target files/directories doesn't have required permissions.
