Vdisk expand
We have HP EVA with 2TB,I already have 260 GB vdisk and I want to add 200
GB in to the same vdisk
to be more precise
/dev/vg02 - 260 GB , I wish to add 200 GB and make /dev/vg02 as 460 GB.I logged in to the SAN console and have added 200 GB to the same vdisk. but when I login to the server it stills show vg02 as 260 GB.
what am i missing ?
how do i find where the 200 GB is added and how do i add it to vg02 ?
thanks in advance....

Re: Vdisk expand
By this, I take it you mean you have expanded the LUN presented to the OS.
Unless this is HP-UX 11.31, you will need to do a reboot to have the increase in the LUN size be seen by the OS.

Re: Vdisk expand
Carefully check out vgdisplay data.
It might not be set up to handle the increase.
You may need vgmodify and/or a reboot.
