Hi,
uname -a
show the S.O. version.
11.23 --> 11i v2 (Itanium)
11.22 --> 11i v1.6 (Itanium)
11.20 --> 11i v1.5 (Itanium)
11.11 --> 11i v1 (parisc)

you can also use info from SAM:
Performance Monitor -> system properties -> operating systems

there you can get also infojavascript:postAnswerSubmit('submit'); about memory, network, CPU etc .
