hi guys,
We have taken a ignite backup using inc_entire vg00.....will it backup the whole filesystem of our server including /app/,/home..........

Well i cant give u the bdf right now...but it was something like;
/dev/vg00/lvol5 /home
/dev/vg00/lvol6 /app

ya. when /app and /home inside the vg00, the backup will contain the both.
anyhow refer the ignite commands for, whether u took full vg00 or part of it?
then only everything will go fine.
