Hi,
I need to modify a volume group and get the following:
# vgmodify -r -p 28 -e 17916 -n -v vgqac
Volume Group configuration for /dev/vgqac has been saved in /etc/lvmconf/vgqac.conf
Current Volume Group settings:
Max LV 255
Max PV 16
Max PE per PV 20000
PE Size (Mbytes) 4
VGRA Size (Kbytes) 2640
vgmodify: This operation can only be completed if PE number zero on "/dev/rdsk/c4t0d4" is freed
vgmodify: This operation can only be completed if PE number zero on "/dev/rdsk/c4t0d5" is freed
vgmodify: This operation can only be completed if PE number zero on "/dev/rdsk/c4t0d7" is freed
vgmodify: This operation can only be completed if PE number zero on "/dev/rdsk/c4t1d0" is freed
vgmodify: This operation can only be completed if PE number zero on "/dev/rdsk/c4t1d1" is freed
vgmodify: This operation can only be completed if PE number zero on "/dev/rdsk/c4t1d3" is freed
vgmodify: This operation can only be completed if PE number zero on "/dev/rdsk/c4t1d4" is freed
vgmodify: This operation can only be completed if PE number zero on "/dev/rdsk/c4t2d0" is freed
vgmodify: This operation can only be completed if PE number zero on "/dev/rdsk/c5t2d2" is freed
I found that I have to use pvmove but can't find HOW to use it or if I will have data corruption/loss, etc. Is anyone familiar with this issue who can help me?
Thanks!
