Quick question.. If I change the Virtual Connect Domain IP Address Settings to another ip, will blade servers loose connectivity?
Is it safe to do it while servers are running?
Or does the change require downtime(maintenance window)?
Asking because our exchange server is runnig on that chassis and it's connected to the san. And the san cannot have any interruptions.
Thanks.

Solution
Shalom,
If the blade servers use this IP address as gateway, yes they will lose connectivity.
If the gateway is a router outside and the change is within the same network, connectivity will not be lost.
I recommend scheduling a downtime, to cover your changes.
