Do you mean ESX server VMWare virutailization? This is not yet supported by PH-UX.
But the name 'virtualization' pops up all of the time in eg vpar, EVA, ...

In terms of virtualization, some of aeas on hp-ux can be addressed below:
1. System virtualization where logical system partions are created in physical system hardware. The terminology is known as npar and vpar
2. Storage virtualization where multiple hard disk modules are grouped to create a logical disk or virtual disk. System will see it a one disk identity
3. Tape virtualization- a new product from HP where there is no physical tape drive. Enclosure uses hard disk modules to simulate tape drives. Such arrangement yields better backup performance and is similar to disk staging

High Availability and Capacity on Demand is the Road to Virtualization.
HP does have a proven virtualization solutions portfolio. The HP Virtual Server Environment (VSE) is designed to allow enterprises to achieve a greater return on their IT investments by optimizing server resource utilization on a real-time basis according to business priorities.
