VM Upgrade from 1.2 to 2.0

HAve Upgraded VMHOST Server but when I upgrade the Guest machines and and so an
swlist | grep -i "integrity vm"
I still get
HPVM-GUEST A1.2.0 Integrity VM Guest
VMGuest Library A2.00.02 Integrity VM Guest Support Libraries

why do not the HPVM-GUEST shows version 2.00

Re: VM Upgrade from 1.2 to 2.0

Shalom,

This may be one of those upgrades that requires a swremove beforehand.

The release notes should say so.

More important: Does it work?

Re: VM Upgrade from 1.2 to 2.0

As per page 9 of http://docs.hp.com/en/T2767-90033/T2767-90033.pdf
You first shutdown all the Virtual Machines, then back up the /var/opt/hpvm directory (just in case).
you then upgrade the Host sofwtare, not forgetting teh VMProvider.

The actual guest OS does NOT get updated.
