When I run the the following command to add memory to a vpar:
# vparmodify -p ymxppap0 -a mem::4096
I get the following error message:
"vparmodify: Error: Command version 0.2 is incompatible with monitor version
0.4."
Can someone help.

SolutionI guess you have different versions of vpar software running. Please check this using the swlist command on every vpar.
At least 1 vpar is not running the version of the vpar monitor.
Did you update your software?
But not on every vpar, right?
Update vpar software *always* on every vpar!
Regards
Torsten
Hope this helps!

Torsten.
