Vparstatus

I have a superdom with three vpars. Each vpar having two lan cards. There are some lancards which are not a part of any of the vpar. I wanna know about them. Does any one know the command to list the lancards which are free and are not included in any of the vpars.

Regards,

Ali

Re: Vparstatus

Shalom ali,

The best thing to do is log into each vpar and run:

lanscan

That will list all active lan cards.

You can then compare it to ifconfig or vparstatus report to see which are free for use.

Re: Vparstatus

Hi,

If you run vparstatus -A from any vpar this will show you any available IO paths (as well as available cpu's, memory etc etc)

Re: Vparstatus

The problem here is:
the slots that are not part of a vPar are not really visible to any of the vPars.

So you need to have a look at the hardware and compare to the vparstatus -A output.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
