VUE always starting in FailSafe mode...
Sorry, i've been banging my head against a wall here trying to figure out why one of our servers is defaulting to starting VUE FailSafe sessions, rather than the normal VUE sessions.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Robin

Re: VUE always starting in FailSafe mode...
Most likely a DNS issue.
Check to see if it knows who it is with nslookup on the name, and then the IP.
You can run dr_vue to see what it thinks is wrong.

Re: VUE always starting in FailSafe mode...
Hello Robin,
have checked your "Xerrors" logfile and the
private one in ".vue/" ???
And did you verify that all scripts used during
login are free of failures/errors?
Just my ?0.02,
Wodisch

Re: VUE always starting in FailSafe mode...
Ahhh, finally figured it out. Someone/something had set:
Vuelogin*xdmMode: True
in the /etc/vue/config/Xconfig file...
