There is no trial of this product that I know of.

To use it, you have to buy it. It is well worth the $$$$ you spend.

The base VERITAS File System 3.5 (base VxFS 3.5) product is available from Hewlett-Packard via the HP-UX Software Pack. The Software Pack for December 2002 or later allows you to install VxFS onto an existing HP-UX system. Software Pack is delivered on a separate CD along with the HP-UX CD and DVD kits.

HP has in the past been willing to issue codewords that are valid for 30 or 60 days. This was done to help with a technical issue though.

I'd contact HP and see what they can do.

Alternatively you can arrange a visit to a nearby HP Performance Center with your HP Rep and try the tool out on HP's hardware.

I loved OnlineJFS when I had the opportunity to use it.
