It does show up momentarily in the tasks section of the gui but those get deleted when the task finishes.
Any way to make completed tasks to stay in that window and see the command that got executed.
points will be given quickly

Re: VxVM Gui (vea) how to show commands
I can not remember seeing this in the VEA gui, but there is a file that keeps records of all the tasks executed from the gui.
The command log file contains a history of VxVM VEA tasks performed in the current
session and previous sessions. It contains a description of each task, along with properties
such as the start/finish times and the low-level commands used to perform the task. For failed tasks, the command log includes any relevant error messages. The command log
file resides, and can be viewed, at /var/vx/isis/command.log.
Hope this helps,
Robert-Jan

SolutionYou can also tell VEA not to delete the tasks from the taks tab.
by adding a key in /etc/vx/isis/Registry
Add:
[REG_SZ] "PersistTasks" = "1";
In the following section:
Software/VERITAS/VRTSobc/pal33/Agents/StorageAgent
