Re: wanted to upgrade a CC - cfront compiler
Its not a patch to upgrade a compiler, its the installation of the newer version of the compiler either from a later version of the applications CD's or download the latest version from www.itrc.hp.com using software update manager.

Re: wanted to upgrade a CC - cfront compiler
there is no patch
It is a software bundle. For the 800:
B3913CB B.10.20.09 HP C++ Compiler S800
Application cd
Unless you have a real reason for going to A.10.40, perhaps you ought
to wait until the A.10.45 patch comes out.
(A.10.45 would need the A.10.40 product from the CD installed first.)
You can get A.10.36 with patch PHSS_14732.
And runtime library patch PHSS_14731.

Re: wanted to upgrade a CC - cfront compiler
Thanks for your kind cooperation in upgrading the c++ compiler upto the level of A.10.36
But wouldn't it be possible to upgrade it to the A.10.40
If there is any patch available then please let me know.
