WARNING: Cannot restore LIF files to boot

IGNITE C 6.7.79

Im experiencing a strange problem. I get the same problem after every install i have attempted using an archive.

stat: No such file or directory
Unable to stat device file /dev/rdsk/c3t6d0
WARNING: Cannot restore LIF files to boot disk: /dev/rdsk/c3t6d0

I've attached the complete install log file for reference.

Just asking, but the system doesn't boot after the restore right? I would think not.

I see nothing in the log to indicate the issue, though the log was hard to read.

I suspect a problem on the source system. lvlnboot -v on that system. Maybe something is wrong with the LIF there.

Alternate is a hardware issue on the target system. Without an OS my diagnostic options are limited to booting of the Core OS CD/DVD or caling HP Hardware support.

And looks like you do not have "/opt/ignite/data/scripts/os_arch_post_l" or this image is bad. Do you have a log file when you created this image?

Thanks for you answers gents. i think ill re-create the archive and try again. seems likely i guess as i have managed to use to before in the past. cheers.
