Re: watchdog timeout from HPvm guest

The cause could be bad HW or some "Patches needs to applied"

Hope you have full backup of the VM Guest which you are having problem,

I prefer to place HW call , Checked to HP,
Problems are common to all, but attitude makes the difference

Re: watchdog timeout from HPvm guest

Hi Johnson,

Thanks for the response. I already logged it to hp. Upon waiting for their response I would like to search for other opinion with this matter for further analysis.

From release NOTE:

==============

If you receive the following messages during boot or reboot of a guest, you can safely

ignore them:

montecito_proc_features: PROC_GET_FEATURES returned 0xfffffffffffffff8

CPU00 failed to synchronize its interval timer with CPU03 within 46 Ticks

CPU00 failed to synchronize its interval timer with CPU04 within 46 Ticks

CPU00 failed to synchronize its interval timer with CPU06 within 46 Ticks

CPU00 failed to synchronize its interval timer with CPU07 within 46 Ticks

CPU00 failed to synchronize its interval timer with CPU02 within 45 Ticks

CPU00 failed to synchronize its interval timer with CPU04 within 41 Ticks

CPU00 failed to synchronize its interval timer with CPU06 within 41 Ticks

CPU00 failed to synchronize its interval timer with CPU07 within 41 Ticks

CPU00 failed to synchronize its interval timer with CPU03 within 43 Ticks

Installing Socket Protocol families AF_INET and AF_INET6

Whenever you upgrade Integrity VM, reinstall the guest kit on all the guests. This ensures that

guests run well and continue to be manageable and supportable. Failure to install and upgrade

the guest management software on each guest can cause problems that are difficult to diagnose

and solve.
