Weblogic 6.1 on HP-UX 11i v2
Hello All,
I was wondering whether or not Weblogic 6.1 on HP-UX 11i v2 is supported.
Weblogic 6.1 is a little of bit obsolete,
I am not sure that Weblogic 6.1 is correctly running HP-UX 11i v2.
BEA home page said that HP-UX 11i v1.6 support Weblogic 6.1.
So BEA can not running Weblogic 6.1.
Any comment would be appreciated.
Regards;
-Takeshi Sugai

Re: Weblogic 6.1 on HP-UX 11i v2
Hi Tash,
up until recently we were running an HP-UX 11.11 v1 box with a Weblogic 6.1 application server,
which posed no problem at all.
In fact the application developers insisted on staying to the by now a bit dated 6.1 release.
(I guess BEA must have done a lot to dissatisfy them with more recent releases).
But recently we moved the WLS application to an Intel based RHEL4 Linux,
which also works.
I think it's more a matter of if you have the matching Java binaries (JRE, SDK) installed.
