what are the products we have to install during installing new HP-UX 11i V3

I am installing HP-UX 11i V3.

Now i have to select the softwares.

Is it default softwares are enough?

The products that you must install along with those that you can skip (unselect) is documented in the Installation and Update Guide. You SHOULD READ THIS MANUAL before you begin!

Specifically, if I understand your question, you should examine Appendix C.

Senthil, there is a vast amount of documentation at the HP ( www.docs.hp.com ) website. It's search-able too and you really need to learn to leverage it to your advantage.

Hi Senthil,

Whenever you are installing any version of HPUX, some default products/bundoes will install automatically as default items. Additional S/W depends on your requirements. You can check the pre-installation guide as:

Default software will be installed during the installation HP-UX but other software depend according to your requirement.
