but i find there is nothing in this catalog :
dbnew-px 33: cd /archivelog
/archivelog
dbnew-px 34: ls
/archivelog
lost+found/ mdb/
dbnew-px 35: cd lost*
/archivelog/lost+found
dbnew-px 36: ls
/archivelog/lost+found
dbnew-px 37: cd ../mdb
/archivelog/mdb
dbnew-px 38: ls
/archivelog/mdb
i am so confused by this

Try this: If you still don't understand, please post the contents.
# cd /archivelog
# du -sk *
# ls -lsa mdb
There is not supposed to be anything in lost+found anyway.
If it does not return anything, you have a file or files that have been removed that are still in memory.
# cd /archivelog
# du -sk *
# ls -lsa mdb

Solution
Hi,
Looks like someone deleted the files that are still being accessed. Since this is a file system, try
#fuser /dev/oraarcvg01/lvol1
If it shows any process ids associated with it, then find them using 'ps -eaf|grep pid'.
A better tool to find it would be 'lsof'. you will need to download it. Search for lsof and you will find the depots for lsof. Once it is downloaded, run
lsof /archivelog
this should print all the processes and the corresponding openfiles. Once you restart the processes, you should get your space back.
