What is this area /opt/CPQevm ?

What is this area /opt/CPQevm ?

/opt/CPQevm/bin/Switchboard
/opt/CPQevm/bin/OSVM

The above process were running on one of mu HP-UX 11.23 servers and I do not know what they are or what start them ?

Do you have an EVA disc array? I suspect it is something to do with managing an array like that,
You could do:
swlist -l file |grep Switchboard
and see what product it belongs to

I think it's the securepath daemon.

Do a swlist -l file

If there are no cron jobs what makes Switchboard issue BDF etc ?

Hi Stuart,

This could be the installation directory of Securepath software for your EVA Storage.
No need to worry about this. It will be running in the servers in which you have installed securepath.

iTS IS RUNNING IN ALL MY SYSTEMS WHERE i HAVE INSTALLED SECUREPATH.

I mean the /opt/CPQevm is the installation directory of securepath.I didnt get your last question properly.
