Hi there

You can use 'what /usr/sbin/named' which will return BIND version and patch details.

Also

named is part of the InternetSrvcs.INETSVCS-RUN fileset, so you could see it using

swlist -l file InternetSrvcs.INETSVCS-RUN

This doesn't give you much info though!

You can also use dig (if installed):

dig @yourserver version.bind chaos txt


Or with nslookup:

nslookup -q=txt -class=CHAOS version.bind. 0
