Wheel mouse in CDE

I need help.

xmodmap -pp only returns 3 pointers, do I need to change my mouse? When I turn the wheel on the mouse it locks up my CDE..

Is there a way to tell it that it's a 5 pointer mouse?

Tried it, I just replied on another thread about it... No luck yet. I am working with a Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical USB / PS2 without the PS/2 adapter and it's working fine, when I move the wheel it doesn't lockup now, but still 3 pointers. The HP USB Optical Wheelmouse is the one locking up CDE, and it's HP! :)
