"volume groups restoration" LVM bassey essien 0 01/11/01

Looks like new post with no replies (as above: zero replies) consistently produce SSI errors.

Re: Where are you seeing SSI Errors?
When I access the HP-UX forum and get the main menu it gets chopped. No post later than 01/05/01 gets displayed.
The workaround is to go to the individual sections.
May I ask what is going on??? And when will it be patched???
With respect for all your hard work.

An unusual one...

Hitting the refresh button in my browser:
Error processing SSI file '/cm/FamilyHomeContent/0,1152,!117,00.html'

Re: Where are you seeing SSI Errors?
It seems that ALL the questions I post give SSL-errors when I try to access them. Very unfortunate because I, indeed, don't get any replies anymore so other people have the same problem. Furthermore, the forum loads much more slowly than in the old version/layout. This is all a shame because before, I could rely on the forum as a invaluable source of information on HP-UX for me because a) about every topic on HP-UX is/was covered and b) questions posted usually have usefull responses posted within a day.

http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,1150,0x98a979bffde7d4118fef0090279cd0f9,00.html
from Maarten van Maanen
To all those seeing the "time warp" symptom, see the following post and Shayne's response:
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,1150,0x35c4854994d9d4118fef0090279cd0f9,00.html
The problem is being worked on.

Re: Where are you seeing SSI Errors?
Posts by Maarten van Maanen "Omniback codewords" and "Cleaning up patch-bundles" both in the HP-UX / General section show SSI errors. Maarten has been one of the users who consistently has experienced SSI errors.
Also, the timewarp phenomenon continues with great regularity.
Regards, Jim.

Re: Where are you seeing SSI Errors?
Seems to be my day...wonder if anyone else has noticed this.
Forums/HPUX/SystemAdministration
Posting from 'Richard' regarding "sendmail error...still working on it".
It shows 4 responses, but when I open it up...there are only 2 showing....I did this a couple times, same results.

Re: Where are you seeing SSI Errors?
....................................
Some pages are showing old content. Until we fix this bug, use the following workaraound to see the current content:
Go to the page, for instance HPUX. At the bottom of the page, click page 2. On the page 2, go to the bottom of the page and click page 1. Trust this view of the page more than going to the page directly.

Noticed someone got in on Richards 'banner login...' posting. So I retried...it took several reloads, but I actually got in.....

Re: Where are you seeing SSI Errors?
Not a SSI include error but a bad reply count:
hp-ux > general > Extremely stupid QUestion from an Extremely Stupid Newbie [AAron Misseri]
shows a reply count of 3 although there are 6 answers to the original post.
All the best,
Dan

Re: Where are you seeing SSI Errors?
A correction to my post here above:
the count is right when forum displayed is 'hp-ux > general', it is wrong under 'hp-ux'

Re: Where are you seeing SSI Errors?
Things seem to be much worse today. The timewarp is now the "norm" and is not always correctable by starting on page-2 and backing up to page-1. Response is slow and the point statistics on the ITRC home page are still unresolved.

Re: Where are you seeing SSI Errors?
I keep going back to the same message thread(under hp-ux sysadmin) that states their are 8 replies.
Sometimes I see 3, sometimes 4, sometimes 7 and it keeps changing!
Also getting the timewarp most all the time
and SSI usually when a new message is posted.
