I don't think so....
I'd say there was more of a chance that Solaris fades away - I mean Sun doesn't even charge for Solaris anymore - doesn't that tell you something? They have to give it away for people to use it...

Just because HP plays hide and seek with its roadmap web page (it seems to move quite often) does not mean a lack of committment.
When you look at Solaris and the company that owns it versus HP and the company that owns it I think if there is something to worry about its the future of Solaris.
11 v3 is coming out this year, they say August and I'm in a mixed shop. We use Linux when 32 bit will do, we use HP-UX when heavy reliable lifting needs to be done.
