Where can I get the 11.23pi depot?

I would like to upgrade our existing 11.23i machines to 11.23pi. Where can I get the installation files from?

Hmm...I was told of the release of a '11.23pi' which was supposed to solve one of my I/O issues.

I did a general search on HP and found only 1 post to ITRC about an installation of 11.23pi from media (threadId=687156)

I would like to download and install this version.

11i v2 is also known as 11.23 PI "P" for PA-RISC and "I" for Itanium.It works on both platforms.But as per my knowledge HP still not release11.23PI for PA systems,i am not sure about it

Hi,

if you have IA machine, you think probably about HP-UX 11i v2 update 2 September 2004.
You can install

HP-UX 11i Version 2 Required Patch Bundle (BUNDLE11i), August 2004

and

HP-UX 11i Version 2 Required Patch Bundle (BUNDLE11i), September 2004

You won't get it since it's not an official release. It is still under construction and probably by next year (not sure) it will be released.
It will then be called as 11.30 instead of 11.23 as per my knowledge.

you can download PHKL_31500 s700_800 11.23 Sept04 base patch from itrc. It will put your system at 11.23pi level.

11.23pi is just a level of patching for the 11.23 which will be available for PA systems too.

Just a precision about what I said previously:
PHKL 31500 is only the kernel patch. To be at 11.23pi level you must install the full bundle.

I could install the bundle on one of my machines. The other one complains that /usr/lbin/system_prep failed during installation and I had to abort the installation on my second (newer) rx2600 :(

Thanks again for your replies. I can't see how to submit the points to the responses (I know I saw that option the first time I put in a reply, but I don't see that drop-down menu with the points anymore). Let me know how I can do that too!

Found out how to submit points and did it.
I was logged in using the wrong one of my two userIDs associated with my emails.

Thanks for the responses you all. I found out where to get the patch/bundle from and installed it on one of the systems. I am having a little trouble with another system in /usr/lbin/system_prep but if necessary I will open a new thread for it.
