Where did SLP go in 11i v3?

On a HP-UX 11i v2 system, there is a library /usr/lib/libslp.sl (for SLP protocol support). This library is in InternetSrvcs; on HP-UX 11i v3 this library (and apparently, all SLP code) is missing (!). Where did it go?

In fact, while SLP is my focus, it would appear a *lot* of things disappeared from the InternetSrvcs depot. Where did they go?

That's exactly what I needed! Thanks.

Surprising that it was part of 11i v2 and now its an add-on... and the depot name suggests it is a 11i v1 depot (?).

Re: Where did SLP go in 11i v3?

Looks like I spoke up too fast. That URL does indeed go to a product for HP-UX 11i v1; thus it will not install onto my 11i v3 machines.

However, on the system install disk #1, there is a product HPUX-SLP (which installs as SLP); this works just fine. Turned out I'd been looking at the HP Application Disk (oh well).

Installing SLP from the install disk, then, solved my problem entirely.

The solution is listed previously: SLP is found on the HP-UX Install Disk #1.
