This seems a silly question, but I can't find the HPNP filesets. We have a system running 10.20, and preparing for migration built a new one at 11.i to test application functionality.
The printing to Network Printer doesn't work. In addition I can't add a test Network Printer as I get the message 'The HP JetDirect printer software is not installed on your system (neither the command "/opt/hpnpl/admin/hppi", nor the command "/opt/hpnp/admin/jetadmin", exists)'
when I use SAM, Printers&Plotters, Add Network Based Printer, Add Printer/Plotter Connected to JetDirect.
I can see on the 10.20 system that there are filesets HPNP installed, but not on the 11i system, and I can't find them on the 11i installation CDs.
I used Spooler Save/Restore to copy the print settings from the 10.20 to 11i system. What should I do.
