It's part of Internet Express. You can download the depot of Net-SNMP from HP here.

Getting the following error trying to install it, what does it mean?

Personally I would try to download the file again, at first sight it looks like a pooched download. Or, since a few places have been mentioned above, try and get it from another site.

I see you've closed the thread, is that because you have succeeded ? Thanks for letting us know, it's always nice to know how a story ends ;-)

I meant to say that the file got corrupt during the download. I redownloaded it and all was fine.
