Who can tell me the usage of LABEL and PDA file in LIF volume of HP bootable disk ?
Hi, there are many files in LIF volume, could u tell me the usage of LABEL and PDA file ? I use vxvmboot -v /dev/dsk/cxtxdx to check LABEL file and the outboot is lv information ( boot, root ...), seems the content of LABEL is the same as BDRA, who can give me a detailed information ?

The LABEL is the disklabel used by LVM, PAD is just for padding, it's used to fill the lif area.

Here is how you can update your BDRA and LABEL file..
Update the BDRA and LABEL file
# /usr/sbin/lvlnboot -r /dev/vg00/lvol3
# /usr/sbin/lvlnboot -b /dev/vg00/lvol1
# /usr/sbin/lvlnboot -s /dev/vg00/lvol2
# /usr/sbin/lvlnboot -d /dev/vg00/lvol2
