Solution
Hi,
This is a trick question. HP-UX 11v2 with VxVM3.5 with JFS3.5 Version 5 layout can support upto 12TB of a filesystem.
But in general, the maximum supported filesystem size is 2TB with 11i and JFS version above 3.
Look at the following PDF document for good information.

I don't think there is a maximum total amount of disk space. There are limits on filesystem size, but you can always go out and create more volume groups.
Practically speaking you are going to run into some limits as far as performance. There is jus t so much disk one machine can use. But there are some very big machines that can use an awful lot of disk.
I've heard some discussions that mentioned 512 TB as a practical limit. I'd be hard pressed to figure out how to use all that space.
