My L2000 HP 11.11 is connected via fabric to EMC disk. All the ports are correct but port 12 (see below) is saying PUBLIC_LOOP. Not
good, it should not be doing that.
I did not see any new drivers or patches for
this problem. Any clues?
The A5158A fiber card is suppose to be automatic sensing.
Vendor ID is = 0x00103c
Device ID is = 0x001028
TL Chip Revision No is = 2.3
PCI Sub-system Vendor ID is = 0x00103c
PCI Sub-system ID is = 0x000006
Topology = PUBLIC_LOOP <--Arbitrated Loop (bad)
Local N_Port_id is = 0x011c01
N_Port Node World Wide Name = 0x50060b00000a0925
N_Port Port World Wide Name = 0x50060b00000a0924
Driver state = ONLINE
Hardware Path is = 0/3/0/0
Number of Assisted IOs = 13403520
Number of Active Login Sessions = 1
These are my current drivers and patches:
MOONLITE[/opt/fcms/bin] # swlist -l product | grep -i fib
FC-TACHYON-TL B.11.11.06 PCI/HSC FibreChannel;Supptd HW=A6684A,A6
FCMassStorage B.11.11 Fibre Channel Mass Storage
PHKL_23626 1.0 Fibre Channel Mass Storage Patch
PHKL_23957 1.0 Boot panic (w/Fiber Ch. & Gig. Ethernet
good, it should not be doing that.
